Casa Geranio offers a beautiful oasis right in the middle of Rio. The warm hospitality from the owners makes the experience feel personal and cute. The rooms are not only clean and stylish but also provide a comfortable retreat after long workdays. A major highlight is the breakfast, which includes homemade cakes, fresh smoothies, and a good selection of fresh fruit-all served beautifully with care and attention to detail.
The steep hill leading to the hotel may be difficult for some guests.

The total stay was very nice in how you are and what you did during your visit. The location of the hotel was stunning - just a short walk away from an 18th - century aqueduct. Food was fresh and awesome; the staff were amicable.

The amazing view from the hotel is amazing.
Getting to Casa Geranio was quite the challenge due to its steep hill. Even though it boasts an exclusive feel with only four rooms, the overall location seemed sketchy and uncomfortable, especially at night. I also found the furniture in our room quite uncomfortable, and the access issues made it hard to enjoy local dining options without a cab.

Casa Geranio is a real gem, if you enjoy cold showers and climbing a mountain just to fight off unwelcome visitors. I almost left a glowing review but the amazing view certainly didn't make up for my lack of any complimentary gestures or help. High expectations? Absolutely. Basic comforts? Not so much.

The steep hill made it challenging to access the hotel and get around during rainy weather.
